McDermott The newest business in Nocatee is VyStar Credit Union, one of the largest financial institutions in Northeast Florida. The branch’s new employees celebrated the location’s opening with an official ribbon cutting on Tuesday, Oct. 13 with the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce, Nocatee residents and representatives and other members of the community. The new branch is located at 100 Village Lake Dr. and can be reached by calling (904) 594-5670. The 4,500 square foot location includes drivethrough tellers. “Families are choosing to call Nocatee home at a record pace, with over 100 new homes sales each month. As the population grows, retailers are responding to the need for neighborhood restaurants and services,” said Kelly Ray, Marketing Director for Nocatee’s developer, the PARC Group. “We expect this to continue as we watch Town Center become one of the hubs for community activity.” Existing Town Center retailers include Northeast Florida’s largest Publix Supermarket, a family friendly Dick’s Wings & Grill, YOBE Frozen Yogurt, optometrist, family dentist, veterinary hospital, dry-cleaner, nail spa, national hair salon chain, UPS, real estate office, pediatrician, a Ponte Vedra based boutique salon, Baptist Health primary care facility and Daily’s Convenience Store. ReMax Unlimited recently opened a location in Nocatee. The branch is open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The drive through is open Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. To learn more, visit www.vystarcu. org. The day will feature a bluegrass band, a petting zoo, horse drawn hay-rides and life-size scarecrow making. Get to the market early as scarecrow supplies are limited.
