Girl Scouts on the move
in St. Johns County

With the start of a new school year
also comes the start of a new Girl Scout
year. In 2015-16, girls in St. Johns County are working hard and having fun —
and doing both at the same time.

At the Alice in Wonderland-themed Mad Hatter Un-Birthday Party, girls celebrated Halloween and
the birthday of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low. Activities included lawn games, photo
booths, dancing and teacup-painting.

Junior Troop 138 earned their Drawing badge by learning how to use acrylics on canvas, as well
as chalk, pastels and water painting. The girls did an art gallery exposition at Mill Creek Elementary
