Bolles students celebrate season with parades, giving back

The Bolles School
‘Twas the season for costumes and
care this week as students on all four
Bolles campuses readied for the holiday
weekend.
On Friday, Oct. 30, students on the
Bolles Lower School Whitehurst and
Ponte Vedra Beach Campus donned
creative costumes for parades through
their campuses. Middle School Bartram
Campus students were dressed up in
costumes that celebrated the season in
boo-tiful style.
A Halloween Carnival for children
served by Community Connections preempted the Friday fun – in the most appropriate of ways. More than 150 students representing 70 service clubs on
the Bolles Upper School San Jose Campus planned and hosted a festive carnival on the River Campus. The servant
leaders treated their young guests to
an animated afternoon of activities and
games. The visitors’ smiles were confirmation of a joyful celebration.

men and women serving at home and
abroad. The Candy Callback program
will continue the first week in November. While the Bolles community is participating on each campus, the welcome
station on the Bolles Upper School San
Jose Campus also will be accepting
candy donations from Northeast Florida
residents. Last year, the community outreach yielded more than 620 pounds
of candy for the USO, which delivered
candy to the troops both locally and
overseas.
