PV golfers head to states for Episcopal
Several Ponte Vedra students from the Episcopal School of Jacksonville will soon travel to compete
in golf at the state level. The Episcopal boys golf team qualified for states with the lowest score of
any team qualifying for states, and they are the top seed going into the tournament. The boys are
coached by Derek DiStefano. Alex Whitehead, Sam King, Walker King, Sam Ohno and Jake Baker
will all travel to states to represent Episcopal. Kristin Whitehead, a senior girls golfer, is the only girl
headed to states.

400 Free Relays, with Carly Voytecek

500 yard freestyle (20 lengths and the
longest race in high school competition), finishing only 0.17 second apart
in a personal best by over 10 seconds
for both teammates.
The District meet was a true team
