Mineral City celebrates 18 years in
Ponte Vedra Beach
Pro Am Golf Tournament benefitting
the Monique Burr Foundation
is also founder and director of the St
Augustine Youth Chorus. The group
performs regularly throughout the First
Coast region, including public concerts
at several Jacksonville churches; private venues such as the Jacksonville
Symphony Orchestra Guild and Mayport Naval Air Station Wives Club special programs; and at the Cathedral Basilica of St Augustine’s First Friday Art
Walk Concert Series.
For this concert, the Chorale will be
guest-accompanied on piano by Kathleen VandeBerg. She will be joined,
in the four-hands accompaniment of
Magnificat, by the Chorale’s permanent
accompanist, Nancy Hughes. The program will also feature two violins accompanying Edward Elgar’s The Snow,
and Ola Gjeilo’s Tundra.

Mineral City is turning 18, and on
Friday, Nov. 13 the design gallery
and shop is hosting a party from 5
p.m. to 8 p.m.
Mineral City’s retail space offers

The Monique Burr Foundation for
Children is hosting the Champions
for Child Safety Pro Am Golf Tournament Nov. 30 at The Palencia Club in
St. Augustine with Pro and Honorary
Champions Chairmen Fred Funk, Jim
Furyk and Mark McCumber. Tournament proceeds support the MBF
Child Safety Matters. A Pairing Party
will take place Sunday, Nov. 29 at
5:30 p.m. The golf tournament will
take place Monday, Nov. 30 beginning at 10 a.m. The cost is $7,000
per foursome or $1,750 per player.
