Watson Realty: Update on new location, international symposium

Watson Realty is slated to open a
new branch in Nocatee, which will be
housed in a new dedicated building.
The new branch is informally slated to
open in December 2015 or early January 2016. The new office, located in the
Nocatee town center, will include 4,200
square feet of space for Watson offices
as well as 1,800 square feet of additional
commercial rental space.
“I am really excited to open a new
Watson office in Nocatee,” said Ed Forman, Watson Realty Corp. President at
the groundbreaking ceremony in April.
“This is a tremendous opportunity to
have a location in one of the top selling
communities in the country.”
Founded in 1965, Watson Realty
Corp. is host to 41 residential sales offices with a network of 1,200 sales as-
sociates throughout Northeast Florida,
Gainesville, Starke and South Goergia.
Watson Realty Corp. and Watson
Mortgage Corporation also attended the
International Real Estate Symposium in
Berlin, Germany last month. William

2015 International Symposium hosted
by Leading Real Estate Companies of
the World (LeadingRE) and Luxury Portfolio International, held October 11-13
in Berlin, Germany.

fellow LeadingRE member. Through

able to share best practices and knowledge of the real estate industry, while
also building a business relationship.

on global real estate trends and the delivery of exceptional real estate services.
It was open exclusively to members of
LeadingRE, an invitation-only real estate
network comprised of more than 500
market-leading real estate firms in more
than 50 countries. Luxury Portfolio is
the network’s award-winning marketing
program for high-end properties.

E. Featherston, president and CEO of
RISMedia, Inc.; and Paul Morelli, founder and managing partner for Vernal
Point. Participating member speakers
also addressed the group, highlighting
real estate practices in various markets
around the world.
Sessions offered in-depth discussions
on the trends of today’s real estate consumers, including luxury market insights
and understanding the global affluent.
Technology trends were also examined,
focusing on how digital and mobile solutions are essential for the contemporary real estate consumer.
