Sharks feast

Despite early indications that the number of attendees for the celebration of St.
Augustine’s 450th birthday would be disappointing, city officials estimate that
more than 65,000 people visited the nation’s oldest city last weekend. Original
estimates had only about 30,000 people attending.
Attendees were offered live entertainment, historical demonstrations and an
evening of fireworks at the family-friendly celebration. Pictured above is the
Legendary Mavis Staple, who took to the main stage on Friday night. Page 8.
