The Ponte Vedra Beach Branch
Library has a wide variety of programs and events scheduled for
the month of November to help
you and your family enjoy the fall
season and even gear up for the
holidays. From story time for young
ones to a “Downton Abbey”-themed
workshop, there’s plenty to enjoy for all ages at the library this
month.

Free Nemours BrightStart
Screenings for ages 3 - 5
Thurs., Nov. 12 from 10am12:30 p.m.
Children ages 3 - 5 are invited to
receive a free, 10-minute Early Literacy Screening at the library, courtesy
of Nemours BrightStart. Registration
is taken on a first-come, first-serve
basis by a Nemours representative.
Utilize this free screening to find out
where your child’s literacy strengths
lie, and what you can do to help
them improve in any other areas
before they start school.
Adventures in the Arts Ellen Diamond
Thurs., Nov. 12 @ 2 p.m.
Please join the group for a presentation by contemporary impressionist artist, Ellen Diamond, on
“Experiment Before Your Eyes.”

LEGO Club for Tweens
(now for ages 8 - 12)
Weds., Nov. 18 from 3 p.m.4:30 p.m.
Tweens ages 8 - 12 are invited
to the library for an afternoon of
building with Legos and hanging
out. No registration is necessary
and it’s free. Thanks to the Friends
of the Library for providing the
Legos for this very special program
just for Tweens, including our pink
Legos. Tween girl Lego lovers,
the library wants you to join the
club, too. All young LEGO lovers,
please enjoy the brand-new LEGO
table in the Children’s Department,
purchased by the Friends of the
Library, so that this special program
may just be for Tweens.
FALL “Just for Babies”
and Family Storytimes
Just for Babies - Nov. 12 at
10:15 a.m.; for babies up to 15
months of age and their caregivers. This infant lapsit is designed
for one-on-one interaction between
caregiver and baby. Families with
multiple children are encouraged to
attend Family Storytime.
Family Storytime - Held on
Thurs., Nov. 5, 12, & 19 at 11
a.m.; for children 16 months - 5
years and their families, though no
child will be turned away. These
storytimes feature music, dancing,
books, fingerplays, and more.
Sisterhood of the Traveling Plants
presents “Christmas at Downton”
Sat., Nov. 21 @ 2 p.m.
