will be displayed at the new store.
Since work on the mosaic began,
Hamilton has been visited by numerous
friends and supporters of all ages who
have helped to place pieces of glass
and tile into the piece.
“I thought ‘How special if we invited
friends and family to come participate
in the creation of this?’” Hamilton said.
“Everyone has been so encouraging
and supportive and excited for this miracle of a new opportunity for us. I felt
like this whole piece kind of symbolizes the whole new beginning of the
Pineapple Post.”
Hamilton has posted many photos to
the business’ Facebook page showing
the process and all of the people who
have helped support it.

Nov. 4 was a magical night at Trinity Episcopal Church in St. Augustine,
as members teamed up with members
of St. Francis in the Field Episcopal
Church (Ponte Vedra) and the food
and beverage team of TPC Sawgrass
for the annual Café Trinite dinner for
the residents of St. Francis House.
This is the second year that Chef L.J.
Cousson and his team have provided
a 5-star dining experience for the residents of St. Francis House, St. Johns
County’s only emergency shelter for
families and individuals facing the crisis of homelessness.
As one guest stated, “The meal was
wonderful, but the best part was being treated so special. Most of us have
never experienced anything like this.”
Guests dined on filet mignon and all
the trimmings. According to Chef
Cousson, “Our team looks forward to
this event. We serve others every day,
but serving the residents of St. Francis
House who are experiencing a tough
time is especially gratifying.”
Café Tinite is an annual event to reward the residents of St. Francis House
who are working hard to rebuild their
lives and overcome the crisis of homelessness.
“The evening is a wonderful opportunity for our residents to forget their
challenges for a few hours and experience a special evening.” Stated Judy
Dembowski, St. Francis House Executive Director. “We are deeply thankful
to TPC Sawgrass and the members of
both churches for helping make an unforgettable memory for our residents.”
