It is used as chewing gum.
To flavour spirits and
liqueurs, and a number of
cakes, pastries, spoon
sweets and desserts,
sometimes it is even used in
making cheese, and Turkish
puddings, the spice is used
to flavour many dishes.
From its latex, an aromatic gum called
almaciga or mastique is made, used in
dentistry.
