These digital books are the outcome of the etwining Project “The plants around us” during the school year 17/18.
Seven Schools from five different nationalities (Estonia, Turkey, Portugal, Albania and Spain) have collaborated during the project.
After introducing our Schools and students by several means such as videos, slideshows, and collaborative dashboard (padlet),
students were encouraged to create one logo for the project. After being exposed all the proposals, they were voted on line.
Next, students from different Schools were grouped in international teams, and plants were assigned to the teams in order to make
the description files. All of the team members collaborated looking for information for every file (some of them made the
description, other medicinal uses, and other gastronomic uses), and the result was a nice variety of file designs.
We would like to highlight not only the usefulness of the description of the plants around us, but also the work made by students
showing their benefits and gastronomic uses, adding tasty recipes from different cultures.
