When I think about the new album from REVELUS the first I think about is the growth in their sound from the previous album.Revelus has always been a talented band,but on the new album BELOW THE SURFACE" they laid down their heart and soul.This album is a work of art and I get the honor to review it.Rick Logan (Vocalist) is one of the best songwriters I have ever heard and I put his skills right up there with Breaking Benjamin.His stories about life are sang with feeling,almost as if he has lived through the songs he writes,maybe he has.They just added a new Drummer who seems to be fitting in well (J. Harris) and their Guitarist's (Doug Hamel - Bass) & (Josh Bronson - Guitar) are two of the best in the scene.
