Described as a mixture of the Misfits, Danzig, and Joan Jett, Dr. Dreadful is a horror rock band from Akron, Ohio. They play hard rock music mixed with punk and blues. Lead singer and guitar player Rachel Carano and bass player Necro Synthetic write songs about murder, love, and the undead. They perform all over northeast Ohio disguised as members of the living dead. Dr. Dreadful released their first album, Necropolis, in 2013 and are currently writing songs for another one. They have opened for such acts as Wednesday 13, Michale Graves, Mushroomhead, and One-Eyed Doll.
