The Pit Activity Book March Edition 2014 | Page 3

A MESSAGE FROM Welcome to “THE PIT” GYMNASTICS ACTIVITY BOOK -the newest addition to the gymnastics community! With March comes a new level of competition within the gymnastics season. We are quickly approaching sectionals, states, regionals and nationals! With these meets comes a lot of added pressure. Give yourself the competitive edge by not allowing yourself to stress out! Instead, after workout, relax with some fun activities in The Pit! As dedicated athletes, gymnasts put a lot of pressure on themselves to be successful. Needless to say, winning and success are important, but keep in mind why you began competitive gymnastics in the first place. – Yes, it is challenging, but it’s fun and it is the greatest sport in the world. Constantly adapting and developing new skills, gymnasts need to sit back and celebrate what amazing athletes they are becoming! Gymnastics provides incredible personal growth and development for athletes to become organized, responsible young adults. In conclusion, be confident in your ability and the fact that you have trained well. Understand that what you do at every practice and competition is amazing and cannot be replicated in any other sport! Can you help me find all of the four-leaf clovers, gold coins & leprechaun hats hidden throughout the pit blocks in this activity book?
