JONATHAN Horton KALI What kind of impact have your parents had on your gymnastics career? on social media JOSHUAPOLIT22 “My parents have been one of my greatest supporters. The best thing they have ever done is never put pressure on me. They always told me from day one that they wanted me to be happy and if gymnastics wasn't for me, they would never be upset if I stopped.” _LAUREN_T_ What is your favorite thing about visiting IGC? “The atmosphere! IGC is a true camp and I love that itʼs in the mountains with real cabins. IGC is exactly what I think of when I think of a summer camp. The gymnastics is awesome too!” LIAM How has having a child affected your gymnastics and training? “I no longer train for me. Now, Iʼm always thinking about my son and I want him to be proud of his dad. I train for my family and my country.” How does one become a beast like Jonathan Horton? “Haha! You become a beast like me by hating to lose more than you even want to win. I will do anything to be the best at what I do and I always want to win.” SHEABAKERR What is the weirdest thing your coach has asked you to do? “When I was in college my coach, Mark Williams made me come to the gym at 4:30 a.m. to do a full intrasquad. I was training for World Championships and we had
