RIO INDIVIDUAL QUALIFICATION PATH
Countries that did not qualify as a team still have the chance to send at least one athlete to the Olympics in men ’ s and women ’ s gymnastics . The Test Event is the final place to qualify as an individual for the Olympics .

Reserved to ensure continental representation at the Olympics ( Tripartite Commission Invitation place )
* One woman and five men automatically earned these spots . Three more men are eligible for automatic spots if their team does not qualify at the Test Event .
