Olympic, World and NCAA Champion gymnasts from around the world battled head-to-head on June 25th in a skill-for-skill battle hosted by International Gymnastics Camp. Team IGC and Team Competitve Nature competed in three rounds of three skills each. W IN N ER ! RINGS WYNN VS. WHITTENBURG Brandon Wynn and Donnell Whittenburg opened the competition with an Azarian Cross, pull to Maltese, Nakyama on Rings. Although close, Wynn came out on top. #Wynning IN I R! ER! WINN SINGLE RAIL Comaneci on single rail. ! ER N RINGS WYNN VS. WHITTENBURG Round 2 started with Wynn and Whittenburg performing a back uprise Maltese, Azarian Maltese on Rings. Wynn was able to clinch the point yet again for Competitive Nature. SINGLE RAIL GALIULINA VS. CHUSOVITINA point by outperforming Galiulina with a Takatchev. W ! WINNER RINGS WYNN VS. WHITTENBURG Wynn started round 3 and ended his night with a 3-win sweep! He went up against Whittenburg in the final round performing a back uprise inverted cross to slow-roll down into Azarian Cross. HIGH BAR DALTON BROOKS VS. Round 1 wrapped up with Chris Brooks and Jake Dalton battling it out on high bar. Both performed a Double Double Dismount (2 backflips, 2 twists), with Brooks taking the win for Competitive Nature. GRABLE VS. WEINSTEIN Katherine Grable grabs another point for Competitive Nature when she beat WINNER! W W E NN IN N SINGLE RAIL GRABLE Chusovitina was able to take the point for IGC after beating out Katherine Grable with a full twisting double back dismount on Single Rail. Team IGC and Team Competitve Nature are tied going into the final skill of the night! I W R! HIGH BAR DALTON BROOKS VS. Round 3 high bar was one for the books! Dalton was able to gain another IGC point when Brooks missed the bar performing a laid out Takatchev-giant-, Takatchev with a half twist WINN ER ! VS. CHUSOVITINA E NN ER! HIGH BAR BROOKS VS. DALTON This was a close call but Brooks was able to take the win for Competitive Nature by adding a triple pike dismount to his Tak-full, Yamawaki, Gienger on high bar.
