The Many Faces of Focus Passion + Productivity = Success I think one of the best decisions I’ve made during my entrepreneur journey was excepting that I did not know everything and sought mentorship to assist with and provide those taps on the shoulder that ask “what are doing?” This guidance has helped me focus on the skill sets that I love the most and gave birth to an innate passion that I did not know existed at the intensity that it did. This article will discuss not only the benefits of staying focused but also the importance of staying focused within a certain skill set – your passion - and discuss the ways it can assist with being more successful in 2016. I started my business over 3 years ago and I was all over the place with business products and ventures. I wanted to utilize and integrate every professional skill I possessed into my business model. I had so many things going on that I was never focused on anything and was overwhelmed by everything! One day during a proposal presentation to a potential company client, one of the interviewers present said “when you speak about development and program creation, your eyes light up!” I did not give it much thought at the time and continued using all my skill sets until burn out left me being unproductive. I started to look at my company as just “another job”.
