In less than one year, the couple have developed a business model that is providing quality programming and creating opportunities for deejays, musicians, talk show hosts and community organizations. They have also created two additional radio streaming stations; WBKESoFlaRadio.com and VegasRawradio. com. “Life is about working together and helping each other. It’s our essence and the natural way to live. I wish we could go back to the days when we lived by bartering. People traded the things that they had and everyone benefitted.” Throughout their 25 year relationship, the Toussants have shared a passion for helping others become more successful. In fact, Peggy said that Vladimir’s sense of community attracted her to him when they were high school classmates. “Even when we were teenagers, Vlad was always into building people up and I am very similar to him in that way. We never question each other when it comes to giving someone a helping hand.” “When we were developing the concept of WBKEVegasradio, we thought a lot about how the station could h elp show hosts pursue their dreams. There are so many people out there who have messages to share with the world that are important, but they lack a platform to present from. Our station provides that platform. We are proud to be partners in their success.” Vladimir attributes much of his community-focused philosophy to his upbringing on the island of Haiti. “I have always gotten a tremendous amount of satisfaction from contributing to the lives of others. So many people have given my wife and I helping hands through the years and that has helped me to appreciate the value of helping others even more.” “Life is about working together and helping each other.
