Wear your soul on your skin
let your light shine a beacon
of hope – love your body for every
mark and curve and straight line
love and love and love until
you can’t breathe , give to the people who don’t have it
call the bullshit when you see
roar as mighty as a lion
refuse to be silenced
and in your life be excited
for every new day, a new way
is being paved and given
Don’t give in if someone says you can’t
Do – and be proud of where you came from
Say something when injustice creeps in
and if someone tries to love you
and you want to let them, let them
even if it doesn’t work out it’s a lesson
To let people in, to not be jaded
