Introducing Uncle Henry
Good Day & Hello to you all!
My Name is Henry, Henry Gentleman, its a bit of a silly name so you should
call me Uncle Henry. That’s better, not so formal.
My young friends at The Perfect Gentleman, have asked me to take up a post
as here across the media platforms of The Perfect Gentleman as a Regular
Columnist & Radio commentator - sorry Podcast - some new fangled thing
like that. I am to be on hand to answer your questions on any and all subjects
such as Style, Manners, Romance and so on and so forth. You get the picture.
Why did they ask me, I hear you ask! Well that’s slightly cheeky of you. I am
Uncle Henry, as my nephews always say I am the font of knowledge. I have
travelled the world from London to Tokyo and romanced my way back. I
love the cut of a well tailored suit and I have dined with royalty and played
poker with cowboys. My friends took to calling me Jeeves at University
because I was always telling them what to wear and dispensing jolly good
advice and to this day many a young man has poured his heart out over
lunch sobbing in tears and by dinner he was bouncing with vim and once
again in the good graces of his fair lady.
In fact, If I say so myself I have lived a good and full life and now I am sitting
here in my semi-retirement with a good book, a glass of something warming
and a roaring fire and looking for something to do. So these missives for The
Perfect Gentleman, to answer any and all questions, was right up my street.
