And while you are at it , update your LinkedIn profile as well . Valid work experience will be your digital profile to help you shine as a candidate online . Use keywords that are included in the job description in your revised resume . And be sure that your resume fits the qualifications of what the job positions you are applying for require . It is a best practice for a lady or gentleman to edit each and every resume for each job they submit a new application . Yes , it is tedious - but one size does not fit all .
