My name is Jose Matamoros . What I have written has come straight from my heart , and my own personal experiences . I am sharing it with you so you do not walk in the same path as I have .
It is a privilege for me to take this time , and let you know that no matter what you ’ re going through or where you are coming from there is hope . Just do the right things and choose your friends wisely . God has a plan for your life , and He wants to see you succeed . Set your goals and don ’ t give up . You just do your best and God will do the rest . Be respectful to your parents , peers , and others . Meditate before you make any decision ; if you know that it ’ s wrong don ' t do it . Be kind to everyone and treat others the way you want to be treated . Be very positive at all times and always encourage others . Don ' t listen to negative advice or do foolish things . Be confident and have self control at all times . Help others and be joyful always , and you will be rewarded . Don ’ t allow your negative thoughts to control your life . You must control your thoughts always .
Be grateful for all things and forgive those who hurt you . Don ’ t hate , show love . Love will bring happiness , unity , peace , success , joy , health , goodness , and many other great things in life but hate and selfishness only brings destruction .
Value friendships . Also be humble and gentle . Be thankful and show appreciation and many doors will be opened for you . Do your very best in everything that you do and be honest with yourself and others around you . You will create what you think and say . If you don ’ t have anything positive to say , don ’ t say anything at all . Find positive and trustworthy people to associate with . Think and act positive and you ’ ll get positive results . Show me your friends and I will show you the future . Do good and everything that you do will prosper . Godly friends bring happiness . Your angry , cynical friends will do you no good . They will only bring you down with them . They will not be there for you when you really need help . Be an example and accept your wrongs and stay focused on your goals and strive for the best . Be yourself and don ’ t settle for less . You can be imitated , but never duplicated . Ask God to help you to walk in the right path . Remember , He won ’ t let you down . He won ’ t leave or forsake you .
