Step 1: Forget to do laundry. Be in a rush when the bus is coming and grab the first shirt that you see. The thinner the straps the better (anything that leaves a wink of shoulder should suffice).

Step 2: Don't bring a jacket. If it's cold out, take a shawl, and make sure that the fabric is sheer and colorful. Attention-worthy. Does it cover your shoulders, your bra straps? If so, proceed to Step 3. If not, proceed to Step 4.

Step 3: Go to your locker and put away your backpack. When you wiggle out of your shoulder straps, make sure that your shawl slips. Ever so slightly.

Step 4: Walk by a teacher. A principal, or vice-principal, if you can find one. Flaunt your naughty, naughty shoulders. If your bra is darker than your shirt, get a water bottle. Take a sip. Accidentally bump into someone in the hallway.

Step 5: Come to a halt in front of your principal. Feel like you’re under arrest. “Go to the office,” she tells you.

Step 6: Ask why. Receive no answer.
