Everyone Chips in For Sport Relief 2014

Sport Relief is a massive event based in the UK! To raise money funding projects worldwide not just here in the UK. This year some Sixth Form students decided to make Sport Relief even better for us and to boost the amount of money raised we had numerous events throughout the week. Just a few events that we had were Gunge The Teacher , Staff vs Student netball and a mile run in fancy dress around the school field. We raised masses of money which will be passed to Sport Relief then used to distribute help to those who need it most! Just £1 can give a child in the UK a hot meal. £5 could pay for a mosquito net to protect a mother and her baby in Africa from contracting malaria whilst they sleep. £10 will help a elderly person who has just lost someone they love to attend a group activity. As you can see from that information, giving even tiny amounts of money to Sport Relief can help so much.
