The OVCRD Report The 2013 exhibition had the same physical scale as the 2012 exhibition. However, there were more projects featured: five projects under the “ echnology ransfer” section and 12 projects under the “ nvergence” section. For the former, selected registered intellectual properties of UP Diliman were highlighted; all of them came from the College of Science. For the latter, the focus was on projects that fuse science and art. Their diversity is reflected in the disciplinal affiliations of their proponents: Architecture, Engineering, Fine Arts, Home Economics, and Science. As in the 2012 exhibition, there were interactive set-ups manned by the project proponents. UP Diliman hosts the largest number of the finest scholars and practitioners in the country, and it is of utmost importance that awards, grants and funding are made available to these deserving scholars, researchers and . Through its Project Management and Resource Generation Office (PMRGO), the OVCRD conducted tenacious negotiations and campaigns with various sectors to increase the budget for UP Diliman research and creative work grants number of recipients of these grants.
