Intra-Office Workshops

An important part of stewardship is not just
the management of
tangible
and intangible resources but also the
management of its most important resource:
people.
ne of the
accomplishments of the OVCRD was to
motivate all personnel through a series of
workshops to enhance their skills in visual
communication through photography and
message design.

On 26 April and 2 May 2012,
was conducted, with Dr.
Fernando Paragas, UP alumnus and
currently faculty member of the Nanyang
Technological University’s Wee Kim Wee
School of Communication and Information
Studies, as resource person. In this workshop,
the OVCRD staff learned about the message
design principles and approaches, primarily

proper use of white space and typefaces,
logos,
colors to create an institution
“brand ” communicate more effectively, and
