The OVCRD Report Research Dissemination Partnerships Highlighting Key Research Areas In addition to partnerships for research implementation, the OVCRD has also been pursuing partnerships for research dissemination. The latter presents a very good opportunity for showcasing UP Diliman’s achievements in key research areas, hence OVCRD’s keen interest in this endeavor. One such partnership is with the UP System’s Center for Integrative and Development Studies (CIDS) for the compilation of profiles and statistics o researches on disaster risk reduction and management (DRRM) in UP Diliman from 2008 to 2011, which was consolidated with data submitted by the other UP constituent units. The compilation was reported during the CIDS’ Symposium on the Environment, which was held 30 January 2012. An annotated bibliography of the researches, totaling 328, was also prepared by the OVCRD. The annotated bibliography can be accessed from Another research dissemination partnership involved the Philippine Institute for Development Studies (PIDS), in connection with the celebration of the 11th Development Policy Research Month (DPRM) last September 2013. Given the DPRM’s theme for 2013, “Making Health More Inclusive in a Growing Economy,” the OVCRD mounted a poster exhibition titled . The exhibition, at the UP School of Economics Walkway, was a compilation of UP Diliman research projects that analyzed either the government’s health policies or societal issues that have significant implications on health policy formulation and/or implementation in the country. exhibition spotlights UP Diliman’s rich tradition of research that examines health as a physiological, social and political phenomenon.
