UP Diliman
The OVCRD facilitated license agreements for
the inclusion of several UP Diliman journals in
leading international databases. Beginning
December 2011, eight journals have been
included in the databases of EBSCO:
. UP Diliman also entered into a
License Agreement with Flipside,
Arts and Letters’ in-house journal,
, and circulating it
for sale on websites like Amazon.com. Another
License Agreement was entered into with
HeinOnline for the e-databasing of
Finally, a License Agreement with ProQuest
was finalized, for the inclusion of the contents
of the
and
in the
former’s databases.
A work in progress is the review of the UP
Diliman journal listing system, which is being
harmonized with the listing and/or
accreditation systems of the Commission of
Higher Education (CHED) and international
database management systems Scopus and
Thomson Reuters. Under this system, UP
Diliman journals will be classified into four
tiers, each with a corresponding support and
incentive scheme intended to help the journals
obtain CHED and international listing and/or
accreditation.
