PEACE VALLEY ORCHARDS
The Orchards are headed to the
orchards! Peace Valley Orchards,
that is.
Residents will be visiting the
Peace Valley Orchards this
month, which is the birthplace of
the “Buckeye Gala and Golden
Glory” apples. While there,
residents will be able to pick out
the most delicious apples to enjoy
back at home, as well as do a
little shopping for their favorite
fall treats! Some of the apples
will be used to make homemade
apple butter that will be served
with fresh baked bread! Peace
Valley Orchards is located in
Rogers, Ohio. It will be a perfect
outing as the season changes.
On September 6th, the Peachtree
Inn residents will be the first
group to visit the beautiful
Orchard. On September 10th the
apple butter will be prepared and
enjoyed on the 11th at 10:30 A.M.
September 16th, The Orchards
of East Liverpool will take in the
sights on their road trip to Peace
Valley at 1:00 P.M. In addition to
the ripe fruit, jams, jellies, honey
and fruit pies can be purchased.
September 20th, the Pepperberry
Suites will board the bus at
1:00 P.M. The following week,
Culinary Group will set to work
preparing the apples for the
yummy butter.
