The Orchards COMMUNITY HOSPICE VETERAN PINNING On May 31st at 2:00 P.M. Community Hospice will be partnering with The Orchards of East Liverpool to provide a Veterans Pinning Service. Any resident or staff member who is a veteran of any branch will receive a pin and plaque specific to their branch of service. Please join us as we celebrate the veterans of our facility. Light refreshments will be provided after. NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK As The Orchards of East Liverpool celebrates this year’s theme of “Live Soulfully,” we will engage in activities that are good for our soul. National Skilled Care Week runs from May 12th to the 18th. It is a time to celebrate all that makes skilled care great. Residents, staff and guests will join together for a week of fun, interactive, engaging activities. Betty Reight helps display the self watering planters the residents made for Earth day! The week will start with our Ladies Tea to celebrate all of our ladies for Mother’s Day. Fresh squeezed lemonade on the patio, ice cream sundaes, a meditation/relaxation group, kitten cuddles with Hancock County animal shelter and a Tell Me Your Story reminiscing time has been planned for the week. The week will conclude with our annual Senior Prom. This year’s theme is “An Enchanted Garden.” You are invited to join us May 17th from 6:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M. as we don our party wear and dance the night away.
