THE TRAVELS
OF MS. FOX!
LET’S TAKE A TRIP ACROSS THE OCEAN
Ms. Fox recently accompanied the Pepperberry Activity
director, Heather Welsh, to Harmony, Florida! She visited
with friends, enjoyed the pool and even took a trip to Alligator Lake! From Florida,
they hopped on a cruise ship for a little relaxation as they passed Miami Beach.
Their next destination took them to Jamaica. While there, Heather and Ms. Fox
toured the house of the Rolling Stones lead singer, Mick Jagger! In the Cayman
Islands, Ms. Fox spent the day in Margaritaville and enjoyed some shopping at
the tourist shops. Next, they found themselves in Cozumel, Mexico and caught
some sun on Paradise Beach. After a few days of island jumping, they were able to
relax back on the cruise ship. The all-you-can-eat buffets were wonderful. Trivia
nights were a lot of fun! The theatre hosted a different show each night, including
Celestial Lights! To end this amazing trip, they toured Miami, South Beach, Little
Havana and the Art Deco District. Their tour guide happened to be the set-up
director for the television show, “Miami Vice”, as they were able to check out the
houses of the famous! Ms. Fox is now home safe and sound.

The Therapy Department and the Recreation
Department teamed up to bring a little life-size fun
to small town Saxonburg. Once a week the Therapy
Department and the Recreation Department team up
for activities. The residents really seemed to enjoy
playing the game Kerplunk on a larger scale!

In March, we will celebrate
Mardi Gras, St. Patricks
Day and the first Day
of Spring! We will be
entertained by Gene Testa
and Chuck, Fred and
Sandy.
