#4 Special Entertainment Holiday Tags

During the holiday season (as well as throughout the entire year), you'll find special tags during and at the end of the entertainment provided at Magic Kingdom Park. Both the Magic Kingdom Trolley Show and Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire change their routines several times throughout the year (Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter). Each of these shows come with a slight change in costumes and some musical changes that fit right in with the holiday spirit. Even the Dapper Dans get into the swing of things by providing holiday classics in 4 part harmony.

#5 Background Music

One of the things I love most about the Disney parks is that you can't go anywhere without having some kind of music playing in the background. Usually, it's themed to whatever area of the park you're in (for instance, twanging banjos in Frontierland, space sounds in Tomorrowland, etc). However, during the holidays the background music takes over in all areas. One of the neat things is that this music still blends with the area that you're in, so you'll hear good old counry Christmas music in Frontierland, while you might hear an out of this world version of Rockin Around The Christmas Tree in Tomorrowland. It really is a treat to listen wherever you are and just soak in the atmosphere.

#6 Main Street Windows

One of the things I love to do throughout the year is visit the shop windows on Main Street, USA and just admire the clever displays. However, during the holiday season these windows really come to life with festive colors and stories. They change the windows periodically so you never know from one year to the next what they'll be, but one year they did the story of Mickey's Christmas
