My oldest is one of the pickiest eaters I know, and I did wonder if he would even be willing to try anything. He surprised me and actually did try several things. The only thing he tried and didn't care for was the Passion Fruit Cheesecake from Hawai'i. His favorite was the Belgian Waffle with Warm Chocolate Ganache and Whipped Cream from Belgium. He also really liked the Warm Chocolate Pudding with Irish Cream Liqueur Custard from Ireland (and yes I'm just realizing I let my kid have something with Liqueur in it, hmmmm). He was reluctant to eat it at first because it looked nothing like the picture on the menu, but it was quite delicious. Another food he liked was the pretzel bread that came with the cheddar cheese soup at the Canada booth. He wasn't interested in the soup, itself, though.

My favorite came from the Islands of the Caribbean booth: the Quesito, which is a puff pastry with sweetened cream cheese and guava sauce. I wanted to go back and get several more! My husband's favorites were the Cheddar Cheese Soup from Canada and the Grilled Tuna Tataki from Hawai'i.

you are still going to! I mean, you have probably spent a lot of money to be there and you are NOT leaving there without eating your way around the world. Buy those kids a Mickey pretzel and an ice cream and do it! Don't be intimidated by those kids with their chicken nugget appetites, sad little puppy dog eyes, and that cute little bottom lip sticking out.....

...ok, I'm back, they almost had me! But they've got their pretzel and a promise for an ice cream later, so let's go!
