On Sunday, August 25th, the Student Dietetic Association was represented at the annual Student Involement Fair in the Holmes Student Center's Duke Ellington Ballroom.
The fair is primarliy for incoming freshman and transfer students to browse the numerous organizations NIU has to offer and talk to members about being involved.
Our table featured a beautiful display board highlighting why students should become members of SDA. There were also brochures and flyers explaining our mission as an organization and the major events SDA takes part in throughout the year.
Students could also sample a nutritious treat (because we all know the way to a college students heart is through their stomach!)
The fair proved to be success to our group! Many students stopped by for more information on the group and over 20 gave us their email to be added to emailing list!
Even though the Involvement Fair is over, be sure to tell your friends and classmates about the joys of being a member of SDA and invite them along to our next event
