This includes understanding the pre-employment psychological screening process for new recruits from start to finish, as well as other related aspects of the on-boarding process for new hires. In addition, fitness for duty evaluations (FFDE) will be discussed in detail, including understanding the threshold for referring an officer for a FFDE, learning how to handle the FFDE process, and knowing potential outcomes of a FFDE. Also, a snapshot of overdose matters and narcan deployments will be mapped to ensure LE resources are properly allocated.  Technology Trends Attendees will be introduced to existing crime technology to aid in investigation, resource allocation, and planning for special events. Technology to be discussed will include ALPR, Cell Phone exploitation, CRG mapping, and digital trip wires. 19
