OVERVIEW
The NJSACOP Police Executive Institute is offered annually by the New Jersey State
Association of Chiefs of Police. The mission of this course is to advance the professional
development of law enforcement command and supervisory professionals. The
program is not approved for entry-level officers or those who have recently been
appointed to their first supervisory position.
ACCREDITATION BY FAIRLEIGH DICKINSON UNIVERSITY
After completion of the NJSACOP PEI, attendees are eligible to apply for 3 graduate or 3
undergraduate credits with Fairleigh Dickinson University. There is a 2-day additional
in-class instruction requirement for those wishing to earn the university credits. Please

THE ACCREDITED CHIEF/COMMAND EXECUTIVE CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
The NJSACOP PEI has been approved by the Accredited Chief / Command Executive
Certification (ACE COP) Program.
LIMITED ENROLLMENT
The New Jersey Police Executive Institute is limited to approximately 45 attendees per
session. Applications are accepted on a “first come, first served” basis.
DRESS CODE
The dress for classes is business, business casual, or as otherwise required by
departmental policy. Please no jeans, sweats, t-shirts and/or sneakers (except if
otherwise noted).
LOCATION
The NJSACOP Police Executive Institute will be held at the National Conference Center &
Holiday Inn located at 399 Monmouth Street, East Windsor, New Jersey (except as
otherwise noted).
OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS
For those attendees who are interested in hotel accommodations, a small block of
rooms have been reserved at the Holiday Inn.
