Shadow ’ s Rise
The day the shadows rise , Is the day man ’ s reign will end . Corrupting the souls of man , And engulfing the shining lights . The sun will darken , And no longer shine . The grass will turn gray , And flowers will wilt . Existing only to corrupt all of mankind .
But it was sealed away in ancient stone , By warriors Pure and true . After a war that lasted hundreds of years , and ruined the land and all .
But legends tell , Of shadow ’ s return , And the corruption of the land and people .
Yet light will shine , Until it ’ s demise , If only to stall for time .
