Energy Conversion → Spasm → Faraday Cage Energy Conversion (Tier 1) takes electrical power and converts it into life energy. You must be able to touch the source, either a battery, Gemstone Capacitor, or cable. Anything smaller than a car battery is insufficient. A car battery supports 2 rounds of conversion, a truck battery 4, a Gemstone Capacitor with 50 Energy 10, and larger sources will last even longer. The optimal source is an actual active power cable. Concentration: Life Energy cost: Effect: Active, Interruptible 5 to establish. Gain 5 Life Energy per round until 100% or until the connection is broken. Spasm (Tier 2) causes your target to become immobile for a time after touched as their muscles painfully contract involuntarily. Only the slightest contact is required. Concentration: Life Energy cost: Effect: Active 20 per use. Requires an Action check to touch the target, with Success chance +50%. Your target suffers (10 x Rank) rounds of paralysis. The pain induced has a chance to interrupt Talent use. Faraday Cage (Tier 3) forms a rectangular cage of pulsing energy bars around your selected target. The color of the bars is reflective of your own Morality: Red for Immoral, Green for Amoral, and Violet for Moral. Any contact with the bars causes a powerful electrical shock. The cage is anchored to the floor and cannot be moved. It remains in place for a short time after you stop concentrating on maintaining it. Concentration: Life Energy cost: Effect: Intense, Interruptible 30 per minute. Maximum size 1000 cubic feet, e.g. 10 feet wide x 10 feet deep x 10 feet high, with bar separation 2 inches. Remains for 1 minute per Rank after concentration ceases. Kinetic Barrier → Sprint → Quicksand Kinetic Barrier (Tier 1) projects a circular force shield, only you can see, that protects you from the damage, physical or otherwise, of anything striking it. Concentration: Life Energy cost: Effect: Active, Interruptible Becomes Passive at Rank 4. 10 per round. The shield can be projected up to 10 feet away and is 1 foot in diameter per Rank.
