Movement and Travel In most situations the GM will manage the movement of both characters and NPCs in a free-form manner so as to not impeded the dramatic flow of an encounter, with both being able to go wherever they need to go (as a single round Action). This assuming no significant impediments such as physical obstacles, environmental conditions, or other Talent-based interference. However, there may be cases in which movement must be managed more precisely. In these cases: Human base walking speed = 50 feet (or 10 5 ft. hex/squares) per round Human base running speed = 150 feet (or 30 5 ft. hex/squares) per round Human base sprint speed = 300 feet (or 60 5 ft. hex/squares) per round for a maximum of 10 rounds Vehicle at 30 mph = 450 feet (or 90 5 ft. hex/squares) per round For travel over greater distances by vehicle the following are provided to help the GM make estimates of standard travel times: 100 miles by car will take 3 hours, maximum range 300 miles (before re-fuel) 100 miles by T18 Boarhound armored car will take 2 hours, maximum range 250 miles 100 miles by Sdkfz 233 armored car will take 2 hours, maximum range 200 miles 100 miles by Mack NO heavy truck will take 3 hours, maximum range 400 miles 1000 miles by commercial aircraft will take 3 hours, maximum range 4,000 miles 1000 miles by Arado AR 232 heavy transport will take 5 hours, maximum range 650 miles 1000 miles by de Havilland Flamingo 20-person transport will take 5 hours, maximum range 1200 miles 1000 miles by Douglas C-47 Skytrain 30-person transport will take 5 hours, maximum range 2000 miles 1000 miles by de Havilland Mosquito 2-person fighter will take 3 hours, maximum range 2000 miles 1000 miles by Messerschmitt 262B 2-person reconnaissance fighter will take 2 hours, maximum range 1000 miles Page 197
