The horns attach themselves with tendrils burrowing through bone and into the brain. As with most Othersider grafts the wounds around the horns resist healing leaving the surrounding tissue raw and oozing - in this case black ichor. Shadow Bind (Tier 1) brings forth horrific writhing tentacles that wrap around your target(s), immobilizing them, and filling them with a fear of being smothered. As the tentacles only exist in the minds of those so ensnared there is nothing physically they can do to release themselves. Only those with the appropriate psychic abilities can protect themselves.
