POINT TO POINT SCENE
The point to point scene in the north is still as popular and competitive as ever and with the jockeys becoming younger every year it is well worth a visit to sample the atmosphere.
The jockeys who compete include many from Arlary, Steven Fox, Rachel McDonald, Nick Orpwood and Jamie Lyttle whilst the long standing jockeys Tristan Davidson and Andrew Richardson are still firing out winners.
The season runs all the way until 1st June where is finishes at Hexham racecourse for the finale which is the Haydon meeting.
