MPAL supports its members, and the painting
and decorating industry by representation to
government, stakeholders and the community
at a national level.
MPAL is represented on many industry based
national committees and organisations.
Such as the Australian Standards, Paintback
working group, PPCP technical committee and
National/State training cooperatives just to
name a few.
MPAL works with Federal and state Ministers
and with other associations in the finishing
trades, on matters such as Industrial Relations,
Licensing, Sustainable Painting and Training
Development with best practices in mind to
assist in lifting the standards of our industry
for all painters.
The MPAL has a Board of Directors who
are nominated by each participating state
and are responsible for the development
of the strategic direction, policy and overall
management of MPAL.
