IF YOU SEE KAY HAS LAUNCHED RED BLEND AND ROSÉ 375ML CANS If You See Kay is a wine with the personality to match its label. Kay is a no holds barred wine from the anti-Napa wine country of the Central Coast of California. From the northern region of Paso, warm, dry days throughout the summer make it ideal for growing big, bold reds while the cooler southern region south of San Luis Obispo creates refreshing and bright rosés for that perfect summer pour. MERRYVALE SELECTS PACIFIC HIGHWAY WINES Mark Wine Group partner Pacific Highway Wines announced a partnership with Napa Valley’s Merryvale Family of Wines, effective May 1, 2019. “We are very pleased to have the opportunity to represent, and to grow, the Schlatter Family’s Merryvale, Profile, Starmont and Forward Kidd wines in the U.S.,” remarks Mark Giordano, President Pacific Highway Wines. “With decades of history in the heart of the Napa Valley and the commitment of the Schlatter family behind it, the Merryvale Family of Wines represents a luxury portfolio of the highest quality.” INTRODUCING 2018 KING ESTATE OREGON SAUVIGNON BLANC There are very few Sauvignon Blanc vines planted in Oregon, and little has been said about an Oregon-style Sauvignon Blanc. King Estate’s inaugural release of 2,500 cases tends toward the fresh citrus, wet stone and white peach flavor profile. The 2018 vintage was one of the best Oregon grape harvests in the last 20 years – thanks to a great growing season followed by a warm, dry fall. Fermented in stainless steel and concrete at slightly warmer temperatures to drive mineral style, this wine received weekly batonnage to build richness. We are looking forward to pioneering this new chapter in Oregon’s story. VWE PURCHASES ALLOY WINE WORKS Vintage Wine Estates is excited to announce the acquisition of Alloy Wine Works, one of the first innovators of fine varietal, appellated wines available in aluminum cans.
