If we look back at the Prophets and the chosen servants, they always chose that which God had ordered, even if it meant that it was detrimental to their own selves. They lived lives which were modest and did not succumb to the material desires which we find so prevalent in the world today. This created a serious problem for the tyrant rulers. Surely they would not eat from the message that the Prophets and vicegerents (pbuta) had brought, but at the same time they would not leave them be to propagate the message as the very message would result in their corrupt systems to fall. The system of where you bow down to the tyrant ruler and you shall have whatever you wish for of material wealth. You shall have a home to live in, you shall never have to worry about where your next meal would come from. All would be provided so long as you bowed your head to the tyrant oppressive ruler. What do you think would happen to any individual who rejected the authority of the ruler, the laws that they put in place, a man, an individual who only desired to bow down to the one and only king, the King of kings. The Almighty, the Creator of Everything? What do you think would happen to the purified servants whose only mission was to call people away from bowing down to people and to bow down to God alone? I tell you this, that we have seen it happen to the Ahlul-Bayt (as), it happened before with Prophet Noah (as), where he was continuously mocked for his belief in the One God.  It happened with Prophet Abraham (as) when he called the people away from worshipping idols, with Moses (as) when he stood up to the pharaoh, with Jesus (as) and also M ա
