Art inspired by science

Few people know that "Starry Night" by Van Gogh depicts turbulence. This conclusion was made by physicists from the National Autonomous University in Mexico. Scientists are sure that Van Gogh was always interested in turbulence. Probably, during the aggravation of his mental illness, he repeatedly turned to this topic. For example: "The road with a cypress and a star" and "Wheat field with crows".
