Drawing with light

The fun of painting in the void - in the dark room - where the photographer creates the expression of sensations by drawing the light and the lines of light that occur from drawing in the space in front of the camera in the dark room.

The graphic requires a slow shutter speed and is usually second or more and the optical drawing may have the same characteristics as the fast pencil drawing.

The first to be painted by photographer Milly Gene in 1949 and artist Pablo Picasso was painted with light through the lamp in the dark room.

This series of images later became known as Picasso Optical Graphics. The most famous of these images is known as "Picasso paints centaur in the air".
