Who is

Madeleine Rose Frampton Cobb Artist

A very major concept, magnificently carried out in 1984, was her creating, producingand distributing two nationwide Australian Light Horse Centennial Calendars for 1985.

For this production Madeleine travelled Australia and carried out the direct portraits of Australias’

living Light Horsemen.

Significant Limited Edition Prints of six of these Light Horsemen later followed in 1988.

Short stories were published, other writing and poems created. Multi-management within a Newspaper increased skills before travelling to paint commissions once more. The close observational skills of early years of stockmanship contributed immensely. Teaching and sharing with the inner child’s joy, volunteering, donating, meeting Aborigine people, working on her own projects in various mediums, travelling as invited with young drovers, or with Willie Cooma and his camels, and later Fred Brophy’s Boxing Troupe.

In all her life the self-teaching and adventuring has never stopped for this New Zealander who should be considered a New Zealand-Australian artist.

It is in meeting Professor Robert Pope Science and the Science Art Research Centre of Australia and its application to Cancer Research and Quantum Biology that has made the greatest impact on Madeleines’ own personal and implicit lifelong belief of an infinite universe and our specific responsibilities as active stewards of this world.
