We have considered the general concept of abstract thought in psychology. Now we can go to the main question. What is abstraction in painting? These are paintings that do not represent concrete objects, but the mood of the artist. The combination of shapes and colors should, according to the intention of the authors, evoke certain thoughts, feelings and emotions in the audience. The abstraction that depicts flowers can be a chaotic mix of heterogeneous spots and inform. It is this captivating combination of colors, the luxuriant brightness of the spots it has to transmit the emotional impression of the artist of the flowery meadow he has seen. The abstract painter will use for the image of sadness or joy, the objects and events associated with these emotions.

Sadness is an autumn garden, joy is a laughing people. And only the abstractionists paint only sadness and joy, without any connection with reality.

Vasily Kandinsky is considered the founder of abstract painting. It is he who is considered the founder of the MAQ idea in the concept of our president Roberto Denti. And even his contemporary, Kazimir Malevich, has worked a lot in this genre. His famous canvas "Black Square" - a classic abstraction. Abstraction is a personal genre. It is so conceived for individual perception that it is already difficult to speak of the role of the artist in creating an image. The process of decoding the information code of a work is practically independent of his efforts. Everything that the viewer finds in the abstract image is not so much in the representation, as much as in his own head. Abstraction is the embodiment of the author's message to the viewer. Again, let's take the famous "Black Square" as an example. There is nothing in it, yet you can find everything in it. Any emotion, any association that can produce a painted canvas of black paint - a direct result of the artist's work. But these thoughts belong to the viewer!
