Examples of abstract logical thinking

The most striking example of what is an abstract judgment is the exact sciences. Mathematics, astrophysics, physics, astronomy and other sciences are often based on abstract thought. What is not in material nature. We do not see figures as such, yet we know how to count the elements

of a group and state their number. Philosophy or higher mathematics - The sciences, which can not be used in everyday life or filled with real objects, they study what does not exist in material form. They are abstract. Art can also be non-material. The most obvious abstraction is music.

It is immaterial, perceived at the level of disincarnate emotions and associations and elusive.

But the abstract can be not just a wordless melody. Some of the verses also do not have a clear meaning. This is a programmed effect, to which the poets of a certain literary tendency are inspired by "quantum poetry". They try to evoke emotions, not supported by words, based only on associations, inspired by sounds of unusual words.

A person talks about life. But what is this? This is the existence of a body in which a person moves, breathes, works. It is impossible to give a clear definition of what life is. However, a person can unequivocally determine when someone lives and when he dies. Abstract thinking clearly manifested when a person thinks about the future. He does not know what will happen next, but has goals, desires, plans and hopes. Without the ability to dream and imagine, a person could not build plans for the future. And when it strives to achieve these goals, his movement through life becomes more focused. There are strategies and tactics that should lead to the desired future. This reality does not yet exist, but man tries to model it as he wishes to see him.

Abstract thinking is not born with the person, but it develops as it grows. The result of abstract thinking is that a person is able to find outlets in any situation. Think creatively, flexibly, out of the box.

Abstract thinking allows you to design, create and build new technologies and objects. If in the past we had not had this thought, the wheel, the car, the airplane and other technologies would not have been invented. All technologies that we all use today. There would be no progress, which first arises from skill of a person to imagine, to dream, to go beyond the accepted and reasonable everyday situation. These skills are useful in everyday life, for example, when a person faces different characters and behaviors of people who have never met before. The ability to rebuild and adapt quickly in immutable circumstances is due to abstract thought.
